UPTET (Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test) is a state-level entrance test conducted for those candidates who wishes to join as teachers for primary level (class 1 to 5) and upper primary level (class 6 to 8) classes in various Government schools across Uttar Pradesh. This entrance exam is conducted by UPBEB (Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board) every year.

UPTET Apply Online 2025
1. Open the official website of UPTET http://updeled.gov.in & click on the Apply online link.
2. Then complete the basic registration by providing the details like Email Id, Phone no etc.
3. Now using the Registration details, again login & complete all the required information like education qualification details, correspondence address etc in the UPTET 2025 application form.
4. After filling all the details, upload all the required documents and then finally submit the application form.
5. You must take some printouts of the application form & payment receipt for future reference.

UPTET Vacancy 2025
The UPTET examination do not offer any kind of direct recruitment for the applicants. It is only qualifying in nature.
The Candidates must qualify the minimum cut-off marks as laid down by the exam conducting body in order to get the UPTET qualified certificate which is a kind of eligibility certificate. Now after getting this certificate, candidates can apply for the teaching posts in government schools of Uttar Pradesh as per the available vacancies at that point of time.

UPTET Salary Structure 2025
The Basic pay of candidates selected as a teacher after UPTET qualification will be given as per the 7th Pay Commission which is Rs.9300-34800 having Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/- (for primary teachers) and Rs. 9300-34800 having Grade Pay of Rs. 4600/- (for upper primary teachers).
Note: The in-hand salary varies as per the location of the school where the UPTET qualified candidate is posted (i.e. rural and urban)

UPTET Job Profile 2025
1. A teacher is Responsible for increasing student’s interest in art & craft, physical games, attending library, etc.
2. He / She should focus on educating students as per the syllabus by following the necessary guidelines provided as per National Curriculum Framework.
3. They should try making students aware of the syllabus, structure, and curriculum properly.
4. They should work on lesson plans/structures of the chapters and should regularly organize extracurricular activities in the class/school.
5. The teacher should plan the Assignments, team teaching, project work and remedial teaching.
6. All teachers must attend the teachers meeting on regular basis along with the training session provided by UP Education Board.
