Every year, NABARD conducts a common NABARD Grade-A and Grade B Recruitment Examination for recruiting “Assistant Managers” & “Managers” respectively in the Rural Development Banking Service (RDBS) of NABARD and has the responsibility for boosting the rural economy.

The Prelims exam of NABARD Grade A will consist of an objective type MCQ of 200 marks; that needs to be completed in a composite time of 120 minutes.

NABARD Grade A 2025 Interview Round:
Candidates securing sufficiently high ranks in the above exams (Pre & Mains), will have to appear for the Interview Round. The Final Merit List will comprise the marks obtained in Mains Exam and Interview Round (which will have a weightage of 25 marks). Candidates qualifying both Mains & Interview round shall be recruited for the post of NABARD Grade A Assistant Manager.

Note:
(i) Calling Ratio for qualifying into the mains examination and interview would be 1:25 and 1:3 respectively.
(ii) Candidates who qualify and rank sufficiently high as decided by NABARD, would be eligible for appearing in the Mains Examination. There will be a penalty of 1/4th of the marks for every wrong answer marked by the candidate which will be deducted in both Phase I and Phase II.
(iii) Only those candidates who score minimum cut off marks or above in the NABARD Grade B Mains Exam shall be shortlisted for interview round.
The final selection and ranking of the candidates for the post of Manager in Grade ‘B’ (RDBS) shall be based on their performance in the Phase-II Main Examination and in the Interview round.
NABARD Grade B Recruitment 2025 Interview
Candidates qualifying the NABARD Grade B Mains Exam will have to appear for Personal Interview session which would consist of 75 marks. The final selection shall be done on the basis of total marks obtained in the Mains Exam and Interview.

The NABARD Grade A Officer Salary has a Pay-scale:

The Basic Pay of an Assistant Manager is Rs 28150/- per month. Along with this the Salary also comprises of additional allowances such as-

NABARD Grade B Salary 2025
The NABARD Grade B post has a basic pay of Rs. 35150/- p.m. in the scale of Rs.35150 – 1750 (9) – 50900 – EB – 1750(2) – 54400 – 2000 (4) – 62400 (16 years).

NABARD Recruitment 2025: Job Profile
A NABARD Grade A Assistant Manager is responsible for undertaking below mentioned tasks:
1. To work under the assigned Manager and handling all clerical tasks assigned to him by CGM (Chief General Manager).
2. To deal with policy drafting about Agriculture & Rural development of various Central and State Government programs.
3. Actively participating in all the activities in rural areas in Association with Banking Industry and the State Government as and when required.
On the other hand, the NABARD Grade B Manager’s Job Profile includes
• Maintaining customer relationships,
• Supervising the accounting procedures,
• Granting loans,
• Coordinating various departments of the bank and facilitating inter-departmental assignments etc.
Eligibility Criteria
NABARD Grade A Eligibility Criteria 2025
The NABARD Grade A 2025 Eligibility Criteria for Bank Grade A Officer will be:
NABARD Grade A Age Limit:
Minimum: 21 Years
Maximum: 30 Years
Age Relaxation:
OBC applicants shall be eligible for 03 years relaxation,
SC and ST candidates shall be eligible for a maximum of 05 years relaxation.
NABARD Grade A Education Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants – 45%) in aggregate
OR Post Graduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants – 45%) in aggregate or PhD.
OR Chartered Accountant /Cost Accountant / Company Secretary with a Bachelor’s degree
OR Two-year full-time P.G. Diploma in Management / full-time MBA degree from Institutions recognized by GOI / UGC with a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.

Minimum Age – 21 years.
Maximum Age – 35 years (Unreserved)
NABARD Grade B Education Qualification:
Candidates applying for NABARD Grade B must have completed their bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in any subject with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or a Post-Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate or Ph.D.
For SC/ST/ PWBD, Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate or have a post-graduation degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or Ph.D.
